Vitamins for acne scars?

i have really bad acne scars...bad..i have heard oth sides of the vitamin e coin..some poeple swear by it, but there are studies that prove that vitamin e actually made skin worse. i am afraid to take it topically..has anyone taken the pills orally and had success? what about other vitamins?Vitamins for acne scars?
I have a scar from an adominal surgery and I used vitamin E oil on it daily and it has faded to my natural skin tone. They sell it in bottles at the health food stores so you don't have to break open all of those little capsules.Vitamins for acne scars?
