Well if they are deep indentations you will need something serious to help with that.

My mom said that they will go away because she said that my brother used to have them when he was younger. And now he has a REALLY clear face. So will they ever go away they are new and really small.Will new acne scars ever go away?

I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.

AS a makeup artist I think you should definately try EVERYDAY MINERALS. They have a sample pack for free! And all you have to do is pay for a couple of dollars shipping. They also have an eyeshadow sample pack, and they are all really well pigmented, so they go one without a fuss. Just go to the top of the page and hover over makeup, and then click custom kits. Scroll down and the first one is the eyeshadow kit and the 3rd or 4th one is the sample kit. I would definately reccomend everyday minerals since they are SOOOOO cheap and they are probably one of the best affordable makeup lines that I have used in my career. Another line to try is ELF, ( Eyes Lips Face) Now I know heaps of people are probably going to nag me because they've heard it so many times but ELF is really worth trying. All products are $1 US dollar, but here in OZ they are all $3.95. They have plumping lip glazes, foundations etc. I have quite a few ELF products that I use for personal use. The large Kabuki brush is not worthwhile though because it sheds alot, but apart from that everything is great! Right now you get a free eyelash curler(which is one of the BEST that I've tried) and a free eyelash comb.
As for STEP BY STEP:
Step 1: Use a pencil/mousse concealer that us 1 shade lighter than your skin tone and outline dark spots or fill them in if they're small (and the scars)
Step 2: Get a liquid concealer that is 1 shade lighter than your skin tone and a small brush and Wipe it all over the spots, circles etc. Blend in with a soft sponge/blending wedge to about 1 cm around each blemish.
Step 3: Apply liquid foundation with sponge or brush that is your PERFECT shade. Dust over with mineral powder that is 1 shade SLIGHTLY darker than your skin tone.

I want to have flawless skin (who doesn't? and I dont like wearing makeup). I am a light skinned african american female and about to be 19 on september 26. I HATE having to look in the mirror at these hedious scars on my arms, shoulders, back, and face. I look at other girls who get to wear anything because they dont have any scars on their body. i think i spelled it wrong.
i had accutane for all the bad acne i had when i was about 20 and
it left me with all these pock mark scars. its a little costly, but it
can be done at a spa or at a dermotologists office. its a cream
of crushed up diamonds and they put it on a wand that spins
and it gradually fades your scars and sometimes it gets rid of them completely. its awsome, and its really good for your skin.
you can also get chemical skin peels, this is done at spas, dermotoologists offices and some plastic surgury centers.
they are kinda painfull afterwords, your ';new'; skin is all pinkish
and sensitive, but it really works too.

i think i spelled it wrong.
i had accutane for all the bad acne i had when i was about 20 and
it left me with all these pock mark scars. its a little costly, but it
can be done at a spa or at a dermotologists office. its a cream
of crushed up diamonds and they put it on a wand that spins
and it gradually fades your scars and sometimes it gets rid of them completely. its awsome, and its really good for your skin.
you can also get chemical skin peels, this is done at spas, dermotoologists offices and some plastic surgury centers.
they are kinda painfull afterwords, your ';new'; skin is all pinkish
and sensitive, but it really works too.

i have some pretty large pores on my cheeks mostly, along with some lovely acne scars, although theyre not super bad- they basically look like larger-than normal pores. has anyone tried any products that really do work in disguising the size and jagged appearance of the pores? im about to try the makup forever microprimers that are new, but am looking for other suggestions. also, has anyone tried the givenchy 'perfect again' palette? thanks to all in advance!Products that disguise pores, small acne scars?
Well one of the ways I was told you can get rid of acne scars, especially really severe ones, is taking Accutane. I know you are in the medical field so you may know more about its affects than I do. It has some pretty negative side affects, but I had really bad acne scars and it virtually eliminated them, now I only have a few very small ones on my cheeks but they are hardly noticeable, I use pressed powder foundation (Sephora brand) to cover up the redness. Not sure about the pores though, have you tried using a face wash with tea tree oil? It is really good for your skin and for me has tightened my pores and given my skin a nice glow. I buy an organic face wash from trader joes, it's around $5-$7.Products that disguise pores, small acne scars?

I have acne scars on my face and I want them gone! I have been using Mederma but it hasn't seem to be working much. Ive been putting it on before I sleep which means once a day. On the tube it says apply 3-4 times a day. So that could possibly be a reason. Today I bought Vitamin E oil because I read that it helps in the appearance. for me, my skin burned and peeled almost immediatley, which is what it's supposed to do. (it burns off the top layer of skin so the lower layer of skin doesn't get clogged with dirt and dead skin) within a week, mine was considerably clearer!

But it does have some really yucky side affects and since you said you aren't quite physically mature your doctor might not prescribe it for you, because I think it can stunt your growth. -It can cause serious birth defects if you get pregnant. Even though you are 14 you will probably have to promise to use 2 kinds of birth control- at least one oral form (like the pill) and the other can be abstinence, but you'll have to get a monthly blood pregnancy test.
-It makes your skin VERY VERY dry- to give you some idea I had to use an oil-based moisturizer while I was taking it because I couldn't stand the dryness- but I still didn't get one zit after the 1st month of treatment.
-It can make your joints hurt. It made my back ache.

If your using everything and they are not working, than see a dermatologist. He/she can prescribe you acne medication that should work better than over the counter stuff.
your best bet would probly try some other acne washes and such, and if it gets worse to go see a facial dermatologist and get professional help, cause it does suck having acne and they usually dont go away withone wash, also picking at them just opens them up more and makes scars, which can make it worse also if your hands are dirty.

Ok, I was taking birth control pills for a few months and had HORRIFIC acne. So I stopped and the acne lessened (I still have some active acne) but I still have these smooth, red scars. I've tried everything%26gt;proactive, benzoil, salisilic acid (however you spell these) and nothing works. It's been months and months since I stopped the pill. Often times the regular doctor, who knows more about your med. history and whatnot can help you more than a dermatologist.
are you a vegetarian? That might have something to do with it. Its worth checking into.
Try dabbing toothpaste or honey on your zits before you go to bed - works wonders.
Overall, remember that beauty counts more on the inside than on the outside, and your true friends will love you for you, and not your skin.

if they are actually scars, the are called keloid scars. there isn't really anything that can be done for them .You can go to a dermatologist and they will give you a cortozone shot in each scar. t his will just make the bulge of the scar go away, but you will still have a red mark. You could go to a plastic surgeon and have them cut off, but that usally doesn't have a good outcome b'coz another scar will form where the incesion was.
i have almost like rosacia(sp?) loking red spots on my cheeks. i had really bad acne, but once i got on the pill, it cleared up (opposite to you). before the pill, my doctor gave me Retin-A. a really intense face cream. it cleared up my breakouts, but my skin was really dry and flaky. then i went on the pill, and it cleared up, but you should try RetinA, it may work for you better than it did me. as for those red scars, i think those may be broken blood vessels or something, and laser treatment might be able to clear them up. im going to ask my doctor about my redness next month, and see what can be done. hey i started using preferon on my acne scars and believe me i have a lot and ive had them for about 6 yrs now. ive been using it for a month and have been putting it on every nite before i sleep. i wake up int hemorning and i honestly think it is working. after a month ive seen my scars fading. it will take a few more months maybe more depending on how long uve had the scars. i recommend using preferon alongside another scar cream like mederma or something else. ive been thinking about doing that too. good luck.

use clean and clear's acne spot treament. it comes in this silver tube with a purple cap and it's a gel. it's a salicylic acid treatment. it works for me. it'll get rid of acne and acne scars SLOWLY but for the deep crater type stuff then you need to see a dermatologist for an expensive and professional peeling.

Tea tree oil can be used for any skin type even if you have very sensitive skin. And in that case I would dilute the oil with either water or aloe vera gel, which you can get at any drug store.
There are only two downsides to tea tree oil and that is that the smell is pretty strong, and it can dry out your face a little, which can be taken care of by using a moisturizer.
The oil can be found in any drugstore/grocery store/health store in the same isle as the finger nail polish remover for about $6. There are many different kinds but you can get whatever brand as long as it says 100% tea tree oil.
I would recommend putting it on at night before you go to sleep.

I personally don't get into looks all that much. It's what is on the inside that counts. If you are respectful, honest, kind and thoughtful and have a great smile and fun personality I would think you were the best guy in the world, regardless of any acne scars.

Also pick up a LOW strength Benzoyl-peroxide cream, apply the cream by dabbing to the individual blemishes.... DON鈥橳 rub it in works using a oxidation/reduction reaction. It will unclog
dry it out and bring it to a head...DON鈥橳 over use this or put anywhere else on your face. It will cause drying and make you look worse.
Salicylates such as found in regular aspirin among other products work very similar but also remove layers of skin...other over the counter creams with this product will dry out pimples but maybe too hash and cause surrounding skin trauma..

Use the T-Zone Clear Up Spot Dots. They are just small round clear dots and you can get these in Home Bargains or maybe in Wilkinson's (if there is one near you). Help Acne scars how can i get rid of them?
so I'm like everyone 18 year old, i get pimples, and i have some acne scaring, i was wondering if theres a product out there that will remove it, and also is there a product that heals the skin fast after you pop a pimple, because it takes for me like 2 to 3 weeks before the area is cleared up, and i do was my face everyday with Biore and i use the self heating mask twice a weekHelp Acne scars how can i get rid of them?

You cannot get rid of scars... they arnt temporary like acne !
You can use make up to cover that stuff up... like Cindy Crawford... she looks like a 20 year old but only with the make up she has on thats covering up her wrinkles/scars/freckles/etc...
Just dont pop ur pimples...

I have a few scars that I really want to have revised. I went to a dermatologist/surgeon today and she suggested fraxel laser treatments. After I came home, I did a quick search on fraxel lasers and it seems like they're mostly used to treat acne scars.
