I suffered from acne and had scars in my face and emotional scars how do i get my self confidence back?

If you have the same case you know what I mean, i am lucky to have a girlfriend. she understands my situation but still i want to give her the best. i am planning to fix the scars by going to a dermatologist but as for now what should i do?I suffered from acne and had scars in my face and emotional scars how do i get my self confidence back?

You are a good guy, and no facial scars are going to change that. Obviously , your scars bother you, but not your girlfriend....so, why let them bother you? If they don't bother her, and she loves YOU, there is NO problem. Enjoy, and appreciate that young lady. She seems right for you!
I don't know I went through the same thing in HS I took accutane and that really helped but I remember what its like. You have to like yourself before you can expect anyone else to. I would definitely suggest going to the dermatologist, that was the best thing I ever did for my face. Other than that if you've got a supportive GF and you can get to where you like what you see in the mirror your self confidence will come back no problem. Good Luck!
