It depends on how bad the scars are. Not all will disappear on their own. You can buy creams to help scars become less noticeable. They are used mostly for surgery scars, but a scar is a scar so I don't know why it wouldn't work for this as well. They're an over the counter item and don't cost much. I hope you can find something that helps you.
