How do you get rid of reddness/scarring from acne?

I had bad acne (on my face) that is now gone, mostly on my cheeks, but there is some reddness and I guess scars that area still there. How can I get rid of this or make is less worse, without covering up with make-up.How do you get rid of reddness/scarring from acne?

Covering it up with make up makes it look disgusting, by the way. Go to Target, and you'll see a little tub that's orange. I forgot the brand name, sorry, but it's proven to fight the scars in about 1-2 days. They're like wet circular little pads that you massage on your face.

have you ever tried using vitamin e? it helps a little, helps the scaring fade over time! try it - it just might be what you're looking for! i take vitamin e capsules on a daily basis anyway, because it's very good for your skin, nails and hair, but i also use vitamin e oil on my scars (in moderation of course, too much could clog pores and cause another break out). try applying a thin coat to the area before bed, and i swear you will see a difference as times goes by!

I had the same problem with acne ,mildly, and worse with eczema. The thing that has been working for me is make-up. However this make-up also heals skin as you use it. You have probably seen it on TV. It is called Sheer Cover. It is a little spendy, but definitely worth it.
