Does tea tree oil heal the scars of acne?

Tea Tree Oil is a antimicrobial, it kills germs on the surface of the skin. So when used in a steam for the face or a toner with Tea Tree Oil it is very good for acne. But I don't know of any properties in it that will heal a scar or diminish a scar. Does tea tree oil heal the scars of acne?
Tea tree oil is like someone else said...an antimicrobial. it is good for cleaning the bacteria in the pimple or acne but it does not heal scars.





To be honest, a lot of my friends who have had surgery or babies have told me that Vitamin E or Vitamin K is really good for reducing the look of scars and stretch marks to almost unnoticable.





You can oftentimes buy it in an ointment form at the pharmacy or even in your lotion area of local grocers. Its great and I will say does work :)Does tea tree oil heal the scars of acne?
