Does anyone really know if Vitamin E really remove acne scars?

I heard Vitamin E squeezed from the capsules really workDoes anyone really know if Vitamin E really remove acne scars?
Vitamin E doesn't neccesarily remove the scars, rather it helps prevent it because it helps the skin to elasticise. You can also use it to help the appearance of the scars to seem less vivid, but the scar will still be there. Just not as vivid. But with that being said, it's still a very good product to use on your skin.Does anyone really know if Vitamin E really remove acne scars?
ok, the truth about vitamin E is that it clears up your skin a lil bit but not a whole lot. Vitamin E consists with proteins to help clear your skin and help your body clear up with acne and blackheads.. it dont really remove scars. Scars always stays on your body no matter what.. I hope this helps!
There is a whole chapter on scars and vitamin E in Adelle Davis' fascinating book ';Let's Get Well';. It seems to work as well as anything else.
No, it doesn't. If it was that easy no one would have acne scars. Obagi is good for acne scars and hyperpigmentation.
Not only is Vitamin E ineffective in making scars disappear (or reduce) when applied topically to skin, but they may actually be harmful, with a high incidence of contact dermatitis connected to those who use it as such. This was determined pursuant to a 1999 study:

%26gt;This study shows that there is no benefit to the cosmetic outcome of scars by applying vitamin E after skin surgery and that the application of topical vitamin E may actually be detrimental to the cosmetic appearance of a scar. In 90% of the cases in this study, topical vitamin E either had no effect on, or actually worsened, the cosmetic appearance of scars. Of the patients studied, 33% developed a contact dermatitis to the vitamin E. Therefore we conclude that use of topical vitamin E on surgical wounds should be discouraged.
