I have acne, and acne scars, any ideas on what makeup to use?

If you have acne and your going to apply make-up, dab some Visine on your acne and then apply make-up such as blush.

Funny, I was wondering if anyone was going to say Bare Minerals because I love it. It IS kind of expensive though, and I know Cover Girl and other companies recently came out with mineral makeup, but I have no idea if it works the same as Bare Minerals. So on that note...it's worth the money.
keep ur face dry all time .. wipe it wit skin toner n cotten at night bfr bed ... or use sme harmless cream.. try this site it might help u...

i have the same problem, i tried proactive (cover up) but all it did was dry my skin up. i have been using bare minerals for a while now and i love it! i started off with the kit and it comes with everthing that you need in there even the brushes! i realy liked it because it covers up all of the blemishes and it feels like you have nothing on and it also looks that way too! i hopw this really helps because i have the same problem and i know how hard it can be to cover it up. you can buy bare minerals directly from the tv, the internet or from the mall. you shouold get it from the mall because then that way you could see what color you are and see which one is for you! it is also good for your skin and when i was buying it thy told me that it is even safe to sleep in it (probably would not be a safe idea to try it though inless u want makeup all over your pillow!)i really hope this helps and good luck! :)
Bare Minerals is the absolute best make-up for you. My grand daughter has the same problem. The best thing is you can't even tell she is wearing make-up. She looks beautiful.
DERMABLEND is the BEST foundation for acne scars. i went to school to be a makeup artist and my teacher, a working makeup artist herself says its PERFECT for acne scars. I think you can get it at sephora or theres another store called ULTA that definitley has it or try online !
The make up - again bare minerals. You can mix the all in one powder (concealer/foundation) with a little face lotion to make an amazing tinted moisturizer.





But for skin care, make sure you are not over applying acne products. They can dry your skin and cause it to actually produce more oil. Moisturize with SPF etc, you know. Make sure you are exfoliating lightly every day to slough dead skin cells that can clog pores and cause acne. If you have acne scars there is actually scar care cream that can help with this. I also think companies are now introducing skin care kits targeting people with facial scarring. It may be worth looking into.





Otherwise try a chemical peel. Its not as horrible as it sounds and a good medical dermatologist can help take of the scarred layer. It will sting and you may have to stay inside for as long as a month but it will help your skin regenerate as it heals smoothly. I get light chemical peels just to prevent premature aging, the kind I get are not targeting scarring but a medical, rather than spa peel, can really do wonders.
