i have alot of acne scars on my cheeks and i have to put a puond of foundation just to make them look faded and alot of people notice that my face look fake i need tips on how to make it look naturalHow to cover up acne scars with makeup?
Reduce how much foundation you are wearing because not only will that look completely unnatural but you are just make your acne scars stand out since the foundation will just sink in the scars. You need to put a light foundation on and then apply a concealer to your scars. But you need to make sure that you do use a light foundation, so that you don't look like you have concealer spots all over your face. Make sure that you also wash your face, you can use an acne scrub. That will help you acne out day by day.

Try using a concealer. Dab it on the scars but don't rub it in all the way. You will look like you have polka dots lol. Then put liquid foundation over it with a make up sponge (blot don't smear) and blend it in. Use a light loose powder foundation with a big fluffy brush afterwards, this will get rid of shine.
try a heavy concealer like dermablend... it covers better than foundation so you wont have to layer as much on.
