I have very white skin with very red acne scars. When I go tanning, it makes my face darker and as the tan fades, so do the scars. Those are just my personal experiences though.Will sunlight lighten or darken acne scars?
I'm almost positive that over time they will become darker. I seen this happen to my uncle who was a roofer for many years. His acne became darker.
Darken. It's bad for your skin, don't do it.
