What does an acne scar look like? 10 points?

I dont break out that much, but when I do there is always a mark left from the pimple.( im not sure if its exactly a scar? its like part of the skin layer isnt there[kind of like a hole thats the same color as my skin])...thank you. =)What does an acne scar look like? 10 points?
Acne scars look like little indentations or ';craters'; that can be either red or the same color as your skin. It looks like this:

What your explaining could be a scar or could just be that the area is still healing.

an acne scar, or ';pock mark,'; looks like a small indentation in the skin. It's the same color as your skin, but it's a small depressed area. Deep, cystic acne tends to leave these. Also, if you do a lot of squeezing/picking, etc, you can increase the risk of acne scarring.
It looks like a chicken pox scar
