Acne Facial Scars.... what should I do?

I have used:

-Mederma

-Petroleum oil

-Facial masks

-St. Ives Apricot scrub (the Renew and Firm one??)

these all together HELPED my scars fade a little bit... but I expected all my scars to be gone by then....

i don't plan on going to a dermatologist soon.... or EVER. basically becaus of the money.. but my parents keep saying they will fade away later on...

what should I do about this?Acne Facial Scars.... what should I do?
vitamin e oil. (you can get it at health food stores like GNC and stuff) it really does work. even after severe severe acne.Acne Facial Scars.... what should I do?
I hate to break it to you, but it's true what people say that they don't actually go away. Once you pick at your pimples, they do leave scars (that's why people keep saying don't pick at them no matter what) . Also, the products you use only make them appear less noticable. On the brightside, make-up does help enormously, but if you're not much of a make-up person, you can use a primer instead. They're used normally as a bottom layer before you apply your foundation. I've found that just using the primer is good enough if your skin isn't too red or if your acne isn't too bad, it can make your skin appear more smooth and flawless. The product I would suggest is Givenchy Matte Primer. It works awesome! I've used Clarins Instant Matte and it works ok, but it caused my skin to get a little irritated.
Kinda painful, but effective...really effective.

1. microdermabrasion (this pretty much stopped my acne, and got rid of all of my scars; I got a treatment every 2 weeks, and after the 5th treatment my skin was almost perfect)

2. chemical peel (never had one, but a friend of mine gets them and her skin is amazing; we both had severe acne; my dermatologist thinks they're overrated; she just tells me to use the Aqua Glycolic)

***Please make sure to have a consultation before you lay down on the table. Research the procedure and ask questions. I've been very lucky. ***

Less invasive:

Wash your face with the Aqua Glycolic Shampoo%26amp;Body wash; it has a stronger concentration of AHA (this stuff is amazing; takes a while to see the results, but it's worth the wait; you can get it online)

Stay away from:

Scrubs (makes it worse)

I would also stop putting petroleum oil on your face. Maybe aloe vera would be better.
A bit of sunshine should help fade away the scars (provided you're not on acne treatment such as retinoids or tetracyclines that can make you sensitive to sunlight). Other than that, if you don't want to shell out big bucks for laser treatment or a face peel, the only treatment is TIME. These scars will fade if you just leave them alone :)
erythromycin helped me when i was prescribed it when i was younger. It helped with preventing scars that were inevitable in the future. If you squeeze ur zits, DONT squeeze until u bleed. Try some differin gel from your doctor, it was an additional prescription I had.

If you want over the counter medicines, got to the H20 store they have some cool stuff for complextion
i really dont know of a way that you can get rid of them.. but i do know that you can put cover up on it..like a really good foundation that matches your skin tone. it should cover it up even if you cant get rid of them no one would see them..!!

sorry it may not be the best answer.. but still..lol!!

Much Luck!
stop squeezing your zits and making new scars. scars don't go away. that is why they are scars. you gave them the rest of your life.
it dosnt matter about scars cause i bet u are butiful with or without tem ;) ;) :D
