Acne and scars question??

im 13 and ive had acne since i was eleven. i got some scars by it about a year go. i got a little scars on my forhead and arond my nose. Right now i started using proactiv for my acne and mederma for my acne scars. i seem to be breaking out especially in that time of month. i also have white heads and those little pimples around my nose, and when i squeeze them all this white stuff comes out of them. what should i do? i bearly started using proactiv about a week ago, and the mederma cream too. should i wait and see what happens?


any ideas?

You should wait at least another 3-4 weeks to see if Proactiv helps you. Acne takes about four weeks to develop, so it will take that long for all incoming acne to cycle through before you start to see clear skin.





Aspirin masks can fade scarring and prevent acne as well. If you want to apply the mask to your forehead and nose, take about 2-3 aspirin tablets and just enough water to dissolve the aspirin into a paste-like substance. Apply it to the affected area and allow it to dry for about 15 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water and apply a moisturizer. You can apply the mask 1-2 times a week. However, DO NOT use it if you are allergic to aspirin.
